At 18:18 local time on December 20, the core equipment of the autoclave of Lygend OBI Nickel-Cobalt Project was successfully installed. The Owner held on site an emplacement ceremony of the first set of the core equipment of Laterite Nickel Wet Smelting Project.
The autoclave is the most core equipment of the project. It is made of carbon steel lined with titanium, with a diameter of 5.57 meters, a length of 41.47 meters and a net weight of 850 tons. It is the heaviest single equipment in Indonesia. The successful emplacement of the autoclave indicates the gradual opening of overall installation work started.
In the autoclave emplacement ceremony, the Owner expressed full affirmation that CC6 had paid close attention to the civil construction progress in order to create good conditions for the autoclave installation.
