CC6 won the Civil Work Section B of China-TCC Pakistan EPCL PVC Expansion Project on January 25, 2019. At the same day, CC6, with its first-level qualification as a general contractor of petrochemical construction and years of overseas construction experience, won the bid of Nickel Sulfate Project Phase II of OBI Nickel & Cobalt Project in Indonesia, realizing the successful start of foreign projects in 2019.
The scope of Pakistan EPCL Project construction work contains 4 main process units, including units of feeding, polymerization, drying and VCM recovery. At present, the preparatory work for the commencement of the project is being carried out in an orderly manner.
The winning of the bid is a new cooperation between CC6 and the EPCL owner in Pakistan, and it is a concrete manifestation of our efforts to achieve continuous development and localization.
The OBI project is a joint project between China and Indonesia, which is located in South Hamahera County, North Maluku Province, Indonesia. The scope of construction includes smelting, pulp treatment, plant telecommunication system, plant control system, etc. The project utilizes the laterite-nickel ore resources and mature wet smelting technology on OBI Island in Indonesia to build and operate a high pressure acid leaching (HPAL) nickel-cobalt smelting plant and ancillary facilities, and the products will be mainly used in the positive electrode materials of new energy vehicle batteries.
