Recently, CC6 was successfully awarded the EPC project of 5 sets of sulphuric acid plants with an annual capacity of 1 million tons and supporting facilities in Huashan, Indonesia.
The project is located in Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park (IWIP), Halmahera Island, North Maluku Province, Indonesia. It is another nickel and cobalt wet smelting plant invested by Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd. in Indonesia after the Indonesia Huayue Nickel and Cobalt Wet Smelting Project, and its production capacity and technology have been improved. This sulphuric acid project, as a supporting plant for this smelter, uses the MECS acid production process, which is the largest comprehensive capacity sulphuric acid production plant in the world at present.
