On September 29, the 600,000 t/a POD and Its Supporting Project Dimethyl Carbonate (DMC) of CNOOC Shell SMPO/POD2 Project Undertaken by Beijing Branch of CC6 Had Been Put Into Operation Successfully, which marked the completion of the first key milestone of SMPO/POD2 project.
The project is located in Daya Bay Petrochemical Industrial Park, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province. After the project is put into production, it has been promoting the development of the fine chemical industry and new material industry in the Pearl River Delta region, and helping the Daya Bay Petrochemical Park to build itself into a world-class park. In the process of project construction, Huizhou Project Department of Beijing Branch conscientiously implemented CC6's fine management, overcame the problems of bad climate and environment, serious lag in design and the arrival of equipment and materials, construction area spread all over CSPC, production and operation devices, high requirements of product process for equipment and pipeline internal cleaning, and delivered the project on time, safely and with high quality, so as to lay a solid foundation for CC6 to expand the relevant industry market.
