CNCEC-CC6 Indonesia Branch: The first train of the sulfur burner ignition and furnace baking was successfully completed at the KNI project in Indonesia

Recently, the Supporting 4×1000kt Sulfur-based Sulfuric Acid Plant EPC Project of KNI 120,000 t/a Nickel Hydrometallurgy Project undertaken by the Indonesia Branch of CNCEC-CC6 successfully achieved ignition and furnace baking of the sulfur burner in the first train.

Upon completion, this sulfur-based sulfuric acid plant will stably supply raw materials to the downstream high-pressure acid leaching (HPAL) hydrometallurgical system. This is of great significance for ensuring the overall project operation and for promoting the development of the new energy battery material industry in Indonesia.
