Recently, the heavy lifting and installation of the CCD thickener truss for the KFM Phase II Project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo(DRC), undertaken by the Sixth Branch of China National Chemical Engineering Sixth Construction Co., Ltd., was successfully completed. With this milestone achieved, all four core truss components have been precisely installed in place.
The project is located in the KFM mine of Kolwezi, Lualaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Upon completion, it will be capable of processing 6.6 million tons of copper-cobalt ore annually, with an expected output of 80,000 tons of copper and 40,000 tons of cobalt per year. This project holds significant importance for local economic development.
