First 55.36 MW of Shanxi Photovoltaic Project Successfully Connected to the Grid

Recently, the 100 MW photovoltaic project of Zhongdian Nongchuang in Taigu town, Daning, Shanxi, undertaken by the southwest branch of CC6, achieved major progress with the successful grid connection of its first 55.36 MW of installed capacity. The project will serve as a new driving force for ecological protection and high-quality development along the Yellow River basin.

Recently, Shanghai Jieda’s Nylon 66 Integrated Project, undertaken by the Zhejiang branch of CC6, started up successfully on its first attempt and produced its first batch of on-spec products.Located in Plot B4-6 of the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, the plant covers an area of 206 mu and is one of the park’s key projects.

KFM Project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo Commenced Construction

On July 30, the construction and installation works for the mining and beneficiation area of the KFM Phase II Project, undertaken by the sixth branch of CC6, officially commenced. The project is located in the KFM mine of Kolwezi, Lualaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Upon completion, it will be capable of processing 6.6 million tons of copper-cobalt ore annually, with an expected output of 80,000 tons of copper and 40,000 tons of cobalt every year.

On August 25 local time, the MMP RKEF nickel smelting project, undertaken by the Indonesia branch of CC6, successfully produced high-grade nickel matte through the converter smelting line.Located in Balikpapan, Kalimantan, Indonesia, this project is invested and developed by MITRA MURNI PERKASA and has an annual production capacity of 28,000 tons of high-grade nickel matte.

Birla Cellulose’s IBR(Indonesia) CAP Project Production Line 1 Successfully Commissioned

On August 18 local time, the first production line of the CAP project at Birla Cellulose’s Indonesia IBR facility, undertaken by the Indonesia branch of CC6, was successfully commissioned. The project adopts an activated carbon adsorption and cooling (AC) separation process, efficiently recovering carbon disulfide from viscose waste gas and producing liquid carbon disulfide. This enables the recycling of key resources.

Recently, the sulfuric acid unit of the energy-saving upgrade project at Hubei Yihua Chuxing Ecological Technology Co., Ltd., undertaken by CC6 Wuhan Engineering Company, was successfully commissioned. This project can produce 800,000 tons of sulfuric acid, 400,000 tons of ammonium phosphate and 200,000 tons of sulfur-based compound fertilizer annually.

As a major project in Shandong province, this project is the first industrialized unit in China to adopt domestically developed fluidized bed technology, achieving 100% application of domestically manufactured equipment.

On September 26, the 200 kt/a EVA unit of Lianhong Gerun (Shandong) New Materials Co., Ltd., undertaken by the Shandong branch of CC6, has successfully achieved the mechanical completion. As a major project in Shandong Province, the Lianhong Gerun Integrated Project has a total investment of 12.5 billion yuan and covers an area of over 1,600 mu. The 200kt/a EVA unit serves as one of its key facilities.
