On August 18 local time, the first production line of the CAP project at Birla Cellulose’s Indonesia IBR facility, undertaken by the Indonesia branch of CC6, was successfully commissioned. The project adopts an activated carbon adsorption and cooling (AC) separation process, efficiently recovering carbon disulfide from viscose waste gas and producing liquid carbon disulfide. This enables the recycling of key resources.
