On August 31, China National Chemical Engineering Sixth Construction Co., Ltd. (CC6) completed the structural hoisting of all raw material conveyor galleries at the Kazakhstan EuroChem Project. The work was undertaken by the company’s Second Installation Company.
A total of 10 conveyor gallery sections were hoisted during this phase, with the heaviest section weighing 62 tonnes and a combined weight of 415 tonnes. Before the lifting operations, the project team actively coordinated construction site arrangements, carefully planned the work sequence, and secured crane resources. As a result, the hoisting work was completed one week ahead of schedule, creating favorable conditions for subsequent equipment installation.
The Kazakhstan EuroChem Project is located in Zhanatas, Zhambyl Region, Kazakhstan. Upon completion, the project is expected to help Kazakhstan transition from resource extraction and exports toward deeper chemical processing and higher-value-added production, promoting the upgrading of its chemical industry and supporting local economic and social development. It will also contribute technical expertise and momentum to the sustainable development of Kazakhstan’s chemical industry.
CC6 is responsible for all civil engineering, installation, electrical and instrumentation, corrosion protection, and thermal insulation works for the project’s DCP unit.
