On July 30, the construction and installation works for the mining and beneficiation area of the KFM Phase II Project, undertaken by the sixth branch of CC6, officially commenced.
The project is located in the KFM mine of Kolwezi, Lualaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Upon completion, it will be capable of processing 6.6 million tons of copper-cobalt ore annually, with an expected output of 80,000 tons of copper and 40,000 tons of cobalt every year.
