In September 2019, CC6 won the bidding of Huayue Nickel-Cobalt Project 3 * 800kt/a Sulfur Acid Plant EPC project, which is the first "turnkey project" abroad located at the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP), Central Sulawesi.
On the morning of March 1, Huayue Nickel-Cobalt (Indonesia) Wet Method Project officially commenced. Representatives of IMIP, Huayue Company, Chongqing CISDI Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd., CC6, Huayou Cobalt attended the commencement ceremony.
The project adopts the most advanced international third-generation high pressure acid leaching process to produce ternary material batteries, which is the perfect match of Indonesian resources and Chinese technology. The project will be conducive to changing the current industrial pattern of the world nickel-cobalt industry after production.
In January 2020, CC6 successfully won the bidding of Dressing and Smelting Main Works SectionⅡof Huayue Nickel-Cobalt Project. The contracting of this project has further strengthened the Indonesian market.
