Recently, the third series gasifiers at the Inner Mongolia Baofeng Gasification Project, undertaken by the Sixth Branch of China National Chemical Engineering Sixth Construction Co., Ltd., were successfully ignited on the first attempt. This project is located in the Tuke Project Area, Sulige Economic Development Zone, Uxin Banner, Inner Mongolia, with a total investment of approximately RMB 47.8 billion. It innovatively integrates green hydrogen with modern coal chemical processes in a synergistic production approach. Upon completion, the project will become the world's largest green hydrogen and coal-to-olefin industrial base at a single site. It will also be the world's only large-scale green industrial enterprise replacing fossil energy with green hydrogen in olefin production, marking it as a global leader in both green manufacturing and the olefin industry.
